SCO Audition Instructions
Audition videos are due each season by September 1st for priority admission. Continued auditions are based on musical need and space available.
PREPARE YOUR AUDITION
Find your audition material here.
Record your audition material (cellphone videos are perfectly fine).
State your full name: “Hi, My name is...”
State your scale(s). Example: “3 octave A Major scale.” Perform your scale(s)
State your solo piece, including composer and movement. Example: “I will play Violin Concerto in G by Felix Mendelssohn – 3rd movement.” Perform solo.
Upload your “unlisted” audition excerpts to YouTube.
Pay the application fee.
5. Fill out the application form, including YouTube audition link.

Payments through Neon pay include a 3.5% + $0.20 per transaction convenience fee.

WHEN WILL I FIND OUT MY PLACEMENT?
Audition results will be communicated by September 15th, 2024.
