Congratulations!

If you answered YES to any of these questions, we have great news for you (though you probably already know):

You’re Officially a Music Nerd.

And so are we. We’re the Seattle Collaborative Orchestra — an ensemble of professionals, accomplished amateurs and, yes….teen musicians (and proud music nerds).

We know you’re busy, but we also know that adding the Seattle Collaborative Orchestra to your Monday night schedule is something you won’t regret.

According to the teens already in the SCO, there are a ton of great reasons they’re glad they made time to play with us, like:

  • “I especially appreciate the sense of community shared by this orchestra. It’s a supportive and non-competitive musical experience.”

  • “Playing in SCO has helped me fill in the gaps in my knowledge of quality classical music. I am now familiar with many BIPOC and female/female-identifying composers. It has broadened my perspective of classical music.”

  • “I thought the professionals would be intimidating and wouldn’t really acknowledge me as a full member of their section. Not true. I am treated with respect and care.”

  • “The rehearsals for SCO are incredibly professional and efficient. No wasted time. I appreciate getting the music well ahead of the first rehearsal.”

  • “I liked being asked to write the program notes for one of the pieces we played in our last concert. It was fun!”

If this sounds intriguing, take the next step in your musical journey HERE.
